The LENS project.
An arts-based practice for those who want to discover/rediscover a sense of self. Sessions are participatory in workshop format, customized for groups and individuals, and grounded in creative process.
A lens can be many things: the eye of a camera for closeups or panoramic shots, a compass to explore directions, a looking glass for examining choices. What matters is that you're looking—at your story, your practice, your possibilities.
At Red Chair, we think about community as kaleidoscopic, alchemistic, and process-forward—meaning it's ever-shifting, transformative, and focused on the journey rather than just outcomes. The creative process is, of course, a moveable feast…to feed your practice, to find your audience, to connect with the stories of others. The door is open. The table is set.
Bring the map of your journey so far. Join a group or book a private session. We're mostly in-person at Red Chair Studios, though online communities have possibilities, too.
Long/short term. Subscription/sliding scale.

Let’s look. Let’s talk. Let’s do this.
“In this moment, when lines are being drawn in the sand around hardening belief systems and social media is replacing physical interaction, I’m recognizing that Con’s vision of community creative activity benefits not just the group as a whole, but the individuals who are inspired to continue creative practice and exchange beyond the walls of Red Chair Studio.”
